Slept in until 10 today! My word did I need it! When I woke up it was raining. We had breakfast, spoke with our host mom for a little bit, and then I took a nap. It was still raining. I have been so tired! There is another girl living with us from New York, but we rarely see her. At about 2 o'clock we met up with our group. Still raining. We ran through the rain to a cafe for lunch. After lunch we walked through the rain to the University where we will have our classes. On our way back we stopped to see if there was anything interesting playing at the Theater. We got drenched. Shopping was in order. I needed an umbrella. Got soaked on the way to the store. I finally got home, and I could ring water out of the bottom of my jeans, and my shoes were squeaky. Chelsea and I watched cartoons in Russian this evening and played games on her iPod. I had to wash out my poor shoes. In case anyone missed it...it rained all day! I hope it gets warmer because I didn't bring that many warm clothes! I suppose that it does not help that we live a 10 minute walk from the Gulf of Finland! I hope the weather is better at home than it is here, or at least that anyone that has to go out has an umbrella! This is the building in which I am staying. It doesn't look too nice on the outside, but it is pretty nice on the inside, and I have my own room :-).
